RITA Officials Visit Morgan State University Transportation Center

On Friday, May 6th, Administrator Appel (center), RITA Chief Counsel Greg Winfree (left), and acting Civil Rights Director (not pictured) visited Morgan State University National Transportation Center, which is one of sixty University Transportation Centers (UTC). This UTC is committed to transportation research and education that support economic development. During his visit Administrator Appel met with various university officials including President David Wilson (right) and discussed with students and faculty the vision of RITA’s UTC program and the need for developing a national transportation workforce to meet the nation’s 21st century safety and mobility needs.
